Meet Brooke Gragg from Habersham! Brooke is the owner of Artistic Images Photography. Although she opened her company 8 years ago, Brooke knew she wanted to do photography in high school. She loves sharing her passion for photography through newborn & new family photo shoots. Its her mission to capture and document this exciting time in a family’s life through her camera lens. Brooke is a graduate of Habersham Central High School and received an Associate Degree in Photography from North Georgia Technical College. Brooke and her husband Jeremiah have been married for 17 years in May. They have 2 children Aiden 15 years and Miah 11 years old. The family resides in Batesville.

 

Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
A: “My love of photography! I love to tell a family’s story through capturing and documenting moments for families. I specialize in newborn and new family photos.”

 

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Habersham County?
A: “My Grandmother, Louise Tatum. After her husband passed away she was left with 4 children to raise. She was able to get her LPN license through North Georgia Tech and then graduate from Duke University with an RN Degree.”

 

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Habersham County and what do you love there?
A: “Side Street Deli because they have the best sandwiches.”

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Scotland and Ireland because from the pictures I have seen the scenery is beautiful.”

 

Q: What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
A: “A replay of Dumbo at the The Grand in Cornelia”

 

Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: “Learn to hear “no” as an answer but don’t accept it. Stay true to yourself and be kind to others.”

 

Q: What is your favorite thing about Habersham County?
A: “The mountain community-the way people care about each other.”

 

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
A: “Still doing photography but I hope to be in education teaching people who aspire to be photographers.”

 

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: “From the time I was 2 years old to 13 years old I did Western Pleasure horse shows every weekend and was involved in saddle clubs.”

 

Q: What 3 words mean “Home” to you?
A: “Safety, comfort, and love”
