Meet Victoria Hopper. She is a 2011 Graduate of Rabun County. She lives and work in Habersham. She has been in law enforcement since 2013. She is an animal lover. She has been known to bring home four legged strays. She works full time at Clayton Police Department and part time for the Town of Tallulah Falls. Thanks for chatting with us. Stay safe!

 

Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
A: “I know it sounds cliché, but I wanted to help people. People usually see the police during the worst times. I wanted to be a positive for people.”

 

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Habersham County?
A: “Josh Anderson. He’s former law enforcement too. He as great stories.”

 

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Habersham County, and what do you love there?
A: “Midtown Grill… All day long. I love the hamburger steak. No onions.”

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: “Hawaii. I like the different culture. It looks just beautiful.”

 

Q: What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
A: “Chicken Run. That’s been a long time ago.”

 

Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: “Be kind. Don’t judge. Its ok to have a different opinion but you don’t have to force it on other people. Its ok to agree to disagree.”

 

Q: What is your favorite thing about Habersham County?
A: “The people. Very friendly. Reminds me of Rabun County.”

 

Q: Where do you see yourself in five or 10 years?
A: “My goal is to move back to Rabun County and be the Sheriff.”

 

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: “I’m kind of an open book. I am obsessed with animals. All kinds. I’m always taking strays home.”

 

Q: What three words mean “Home” to you?
A: “Love, Family, Pets”
